COP 29 – Competitiveness in Transformation: How to turn climate protection into a business case to increase prosperity and decent jobs
Without doubt the transformation to climate neutrality offers new growth opportunities and markets. However, it must also be acknowledged that growth momentum in most industrialized countries in Europe has slowed and that German industry in particular is facing several challenges. To reach the goals under the Paris Agreement, it is therefore necessary to turn climate protection into a business case, not only in Germany and Europe but globally. How can we ensure a successful transformation that reaps benefits for all and leads to a just transition?
